Welcome to Colonial Court.  We wish each of you a healthy and joyous New Year!

Colonial Court Celebrations opened in June 2006.  Since opening, Jim and April Johnson have hosted 115 wedding events, with brides hailing from Arkansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, California, Texas, Hawaii, China and India. Thank you to all 115 brides for making the past 2½ years a HUGE success!

LOOK WHAT’S NEW IN 2009! 

We want to keep our brides and grooms in the decision making process while taking away much of the worry and stress.  So, we are adding professional wedding services along with our rental of Colonial Court.  We think that, once you try our new services, you will agree that we are always striving to make each wedding and reception a success.  We are very EXCITED to become Northwest Arkansas's full service wedding venue.  Please allow us to work for you!

In order to offer these new services, we have asked some of the areas best wedding professionals to work along side of us, as independent contractors, to plan and coordinate every detail of your perfect day.  It is our desire to take the stress and worry off of the bride and groom and their families and friends during all of the months, weeks, and days leading up to the BIG day so that EVERYONE  can sit back, relax and enjoy!  We are committed to offering affordable and competitive pricing.  We will work hard to gain your trust. "Getting it Right" will be our goal.  The bride and groom will no longer have to chase all over Northwest Arkansas to find wedding professionals, but can simply make choices about cakes, food, flowers, music, photos, etc., using these professions, all of which is included in our wedding package pricing.

But, please let us explain even further. In early 2009, Jim and April will be adding another building on the Colonial Court property. This second building will be the location for all wedding receptions, while the original 2-story Colonial styled building will remain the location of the wedding ceremonies.  Or, the bride and groom may wish to have their wedding ceremony on the outside patio.

Each ceremony will be held in the main gallery of Colonial Court which has solid oak, cherry trimmed, floors and 26' ceiling. The stage will be decorated with 4 white Colonial styled pillars along with each bride's choice of 2 live floral arrangements presented in either beautiful urns or tall glass vases. The 100 chairs will be set with chair covers and the bride’s choice of color-coordinated sashes. The bride’s and groom’s own music choices will be played by a professional musician as families and friends are seated.  The minister, groom, and groomsmen will enter the Main Gallery from the downstairs changing room.  Then, bridal procession will make their way down the staircase into the main gallery.  The gorgeous bride will follow with an elegant stroll across the catwalk just above the main gallery and in full view of family and friends. As the bride completes her graceful descent down the staircase, she will be met by her father or other special person who will walk her down the aisle.  An aisle runner accented with  flower petals will begin her pathway toward the groom.  She will continue her walk to toward the stage with splendid 6' bay windows as a backdrop.  In her magnificent dress, the lovely bride will take centerstage along side the very handsome, yet somewhat nervous, groom. Let the wedding begin!

But, please don’t forget the reception to follow. The reception area will be set with round tables beautifully graced with linens and centerpieces. Cake tables and buffet tables will be adorned with color-coordinated and breathtaking serving dishes and accent decorations. The delicious food will be created by Mary with "Memories by Mary" and will be presented in a gorgeouse tasteful fashion.

Oh, and did we mention your professional wedding planner will be on hand to coordinate the wedding rehearsal, ceremony, and reception and will take on the responsibility of escorting the bride's and groom's family and friends to the reception area while some picture taking is going on.
